We believe the Bible is inspired and empowered by God, infallible and authoritative.
Beliefs
W.U.K Fellowship Statement of Faith
Our fellowship is grounded in the authority of Scripture, the finished work of Jesus Christ, and the life and power of the Holy Spirit.
One God
We believe in one eternal God who exists as three separate persons; the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.
Jesus Christ
We believe Jesus Christ is the Son of God, born of a virgin, lived a sinless life as He walked among men, demonstrated the authority and power of God in works and speech, died on the cross, rose from the dead on the third day, and is now seated at the right hand of God, having accomplished all that is necessary for man’s salvation.
The Atonement
We believe that in the atonement of Christ is ALL that Christ died for us to have. We believe that grace and truth came through Jesus Christ (John 1:17).
Saved by Grace
We believe that by grace we are saved through faith, and that faith is not our own; it is the gift of God (Ephesians 2:8–10). Therefore, we believe that the atonement of Christ Jesus included our salvation, complete healing (Isaiah 53:2, 1 Peter 2:24), victory over poverty (2 Corinthians 8:9) and complete restoration from everything that resulted from the fall of Adam.
Repentance and New Birth
We believe it is essential for man to repent of sin and by faith receive the finished work of Christ by confessing Him as Lord with his mouth and believing in his heart, resulting in regeneration by the Holy Spirit.
Jesus Is the Only Way
We believe that Jesus is indeed the ONLY way to God, and the ONLY ONE that can save man from his sin and into everlasting life.
The Name of Jesus
We believe that there is no other name in heaven and earth that is greater than the Name of Jesus Christ, the Son of the Living God.
The Holy Spirit
We believe the Holy Spirit is continuing the work He started at Pentecost, empowering believers to live godly lives and continue in all the works of Jesus.
The Return of Jesus
We believe in the imminent return of Jesus and that those who have believed in Him will be resurrected to a heavenly dwelling in an incorruptible body, and those who do not believe will join Satan and his host in everlasting punishment.
The True Church
We believe the true church is composed of all born-again believers in Christ, regardless of denominational affiliation.
The Great Commission
We believe all born-again believers have been commissioned to share the complete Gospel to all the world.
